THE SESSIONS
Introducing the rainbow team
Everyone wants a red team, but not everybody needs one. Driven by industry advancement in recent years, there is now a broader range of initiatives available to support the development of an organization’s cybersecurity posture. Combined, these are colloquially referred to as a “Rainbow Team”, delivering purple (collaborative), blue (defensive), red (offensive), and gold (crisis management) activities.
In this session, William Taylor will clarify the various terminology, provide a service comparison, and provide guidance on the best option for your organization.
The art of esoteric attack chaining
David Nelson’s war story details how he was able to exploit a complex chain of unrelated issues resulting in the ability to persistently compromise a large financial organization’s developer accounts and steal source code. David will also discuss why automated and AI tooling might miss complex attacks like this.
