Overview
ENISA (The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity) is the Union’s agency dedicated to achieving a high common level of cybersecurity across Europe. Iis responsible for strengthening cybersecurity across the EU and supporting member states in building resilient digital environments.
As part of this mission, ENISA works closely with trusted, technically capable partners across Europe to deliver high-quality cybersecurity expertise at both strategic and operational levels. This collaboration reflects a continued focus on raising standards, strengthening trust, and ensuring consistent security capabilities across the region.
Reversec was selected as the sole framework partner for ENISA in Finland, Sweden, and Denmark — three countries with high digital maturity and critical infrastructure needing reliable, local cybersecurity expertise.

Established in 2004 and strengthened by the EU Cybersecurity Act, ENISA contributes to EU cyber policy, enhances the trustworthiness of ICT products, services and processes with cybersecurity certification schemes, cooperates with Member States and EU bodies, and helps Europe prepare for the cyber challenges of tomorrow.
Cybersecurity in Europe is under increasing pressure. According to a recent report from the EU’s Network and Information Security (NIS) directive, the past year saw a sevenfold increase in reported cybercrime incidents across the region. Geopolitical tensions and sophisticated digital threats — mainly from state-backed actors — are forcing EU member states to raise their cybersecurity game and align with new, more robust legislation such as the NIS2 directive.
Our solution
We stood out in a crowded field for several reasons. First, the company met ENISA’s key eligibility criteria: it is EU-headquartered (with its primary legal entity in Finland and headquarters in Sweden).
More importantly, our consulting expertise aligned well with ENISA’s service needs. The company’s offering under the framework spans a full suite of technical and strategic services, including but not limited to:
- Penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and technical security audits
- Incident response and preparedness exercises
- Regulatory support, especially around compliance with the new NIS2 directive
- Custom training programmes and simulated threat exercises
Our ability to deliver both one-off technical assessments and long-term strategic support for capacity-building set us apart. With this contract, we’re bringing our full consulting portfolio to the table—from technical testing to training. We have already worked extensively with public sector clients, and this agreement formalizes our collaboration across the Nordics.
Outcome
A foundation for future growth
The ENISA partnership aligns with our strategic focus on the public sector and defence.
While specific clients under the framework have yet to be named, the types of organizations eligible for support are clearly defined under the NIS2 directive.
These include:
- Government agencies
- Critical infrastructure operators (energy, water, telecoms, etc.)
- Public sector entities with national security responsibilities
We will help these organizations meet the rising bar of cyber resilience and compliance. We will work closely with end clients to assess needs, deliver tailored services, and support continuous improvement in line with the latest EU regulations.
We are already coordinating with national security officials. The consensus is clear – we’re no longer preparing for cyber threats; we’re actively facing them. This contract plays a critical role in strengthening the protection and resilience of essential services.
